And I'm not talking about K-Mart!! The long arm of the law finally caught up with me! :o( Yes, I was going a whopping 6mph over the speed limit. You'll be happy to know you are protected from us wild and dangerous truck drivers... ;o) The officer did let me know that the main reason he pulled me over was because one of my headlights was out (we were on a hazmat load, so we had inspected the truck just a few hours before and the light was working). Since he had gone through all the trouble of pulling me over he decided to do a level 3 inspection (which is a pretty thorough inspection). Instead of giving me a ticket for the headlight (a non-moving violation) and a warning for the speeding, he did the opposite...which is not good for a cdl holder. Oh well, I've learned my lesson (don't ever drive with a headlight out)!

Bummer! Must have been a slow, boring day for him to pick on someone going only 6 mph over the speedlimit!!!
Seems like he could have given you some slack, especially since you checked it before leaving with the Hazmat load!!! or maybe he just needed one more ticket to fulfill his quota! rrgh!
Sorry to hear it! I feel very protected, though. I'd feel better protected, though, if he focused on the teeny-weeny sports cars doing 20-30mph over the limit!
Must have really got you down. No new posts? Hope you're feeling better.
I'm sorry! :( I've never gotten any speeding tickets so far, but I did get pulled over for driving too fast through a school zone this fall. Fortunately the policeman let me off with a warning. Since then I've been really trying to pay more attention to those school zone signs; I realized that I have more of a tendency to slow down if I see children, but not if there are none to be seen. I've been working on doing better!
