Since I've finally rejoined the blogging world, I thought I'd try to catch up on the last few weeks.
Some people might think this was my Valentine's day gift...you would be wrong. Tim actually gave me those a week BEFORE Valentine's. I thought for a minute he was just trying to stay ahead of the game, but not so! He was just being extra sweet! On Valentine's Day he woke me up and told me he had drawn a hot bath for me and when I went into the bathroom, I found a dozen roses and a card propped up beside the jacuzzi. Then, that evening he was going to take me to the Olive Garden. That was a nice thought, but...even though we got there at 5 it was already VERY crowded! So, instead of waiting, we decided to go somewhere else. I had seen an advertisement at Chick-fil-A for a candlelight dinner and live music. I thought it sounded really cute, so I talked Tim into trying it out. We were glad we did! It was so cute!! They had the restaurant decorated, and were giving out little stuffed cows with roses. :o) All in all, we had a great evening. :o) Unfortunately, I left my camera in the truck, so I have no pictures to comemorate the evening. :o(

I had nothing to post for Valentines Day because since I don't do well with flowers (makes me sneeze) Matt is at a loss as to what to do. Last year he bought a silk flower arrangement for Mothers Day. He's trying.
I wonder if our new one in Stuart did that? What a cute idea! I'll have to find out for next year, I'd at least like to see it. That would be something fun to do with the kids - they would think that was great!
Go Tim!! What a great idea!
What a great way to spent Valentines Day. Tim (funny-our husbands have the same name!) Anyhow-my Tim and I spent Valentines at our doctors. *grin* Before you jump to any conclusions-unfortionately it wasn't for a pre-natal visit...it was for physicals and SHOTS!!! I still have a sore spot on my arm from that! We got a clean bill of health, so I guess it wasn't so bad after all. He bought me a beautiful flowering plant and a card. He also bought a corsage (don't know if it's spelled right) one for me and one for our daughter-Janelle-to wear to church. We had a bad snow storm and church got cancelled. So we dressed up and wore them anyways. Better luck next year on the day of love! I just remembered a little gift I forgot to give to him during all that was going on. It was a set of bubble bath, massage oil, etc. and a little chocolate fondu pot for dipping strawberries, and some sparkling grape juice. I was planning for a romantic bath together in our new bathroom. Oh well-guess I will stick it in the little romance closet for a date night or something.
Good for Tim! Very sweet. And what a fun idea about the Chick-filet (however that's spelled!) Valentine dinner! Sounds like you had a real nice day.
