We are finally back on the road after spending almost a week at our very own house! Of course during that week we took 3 short loads with the truck, but we spent most of the time at home. We got a lot of work done on our house that has been sadly neglected. We also spent some quality (and quanitity) time at our pastors' (Charles and Leora Schenck) home playing a new game, The Settlers of Catan. We were glad we could cram in so much fun!! We spent so much time working and playing that we did very little sleeping, so now that we are back on the road we're trying to catch up. (Not while driving, of course).
We are praying for an opportunity to come off the road soon. We have really enjoyed driving and visiting all over the country, but we really miss our home, family and friends. We also feel we are missing out on a really neat ministry opportunity. For those of you that read Leora's blog you know she is doing a FANTASTIC job with the teen bus ministry at our church. We would really like to be able to help with that as well as some other ministries.
Help us pray that the Lord will show us where He wants us.

Many, many years ago there was a man who ended every testimony with, "You pray for me and I'll pray for you and we'll both live forever." He had a loud voice and did not use any verbal commas or periods, and he held onto the last -er for several seconds. I'm not making fun of him. He was a dear man but I often feel like responding with his little phrase when someone asks me to pray for them. Yes, we will pray about your future. We also have some BIG, BIG issues before the Lord. So, if you get a chance, pray for us, too. Love ya, girl!
You are probably a big support to that ministry already just by doing what you're doing and being faithful financially to the church. With the job you have, you have been able to reach and minister all across the country and still have a hand in your church back home. God will direct you when it's time for a change. It's hard to be patient. I'm living in a house and don't know from one day to the next if I'm moving to our other house, staying, or moving to a completly different house. We're just trying to wait on the Lord. We did have an interested buyer yesterday but he wants to buy the neighbor's property too and open an Car Lot. Smart guy. The Manheim Auto Auction is just minutes away. I hope things go well for you this week. I am Knee deep in VBS.
